1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how AppLab Kamil Piekarz ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Orbi mobile application (the "App"). By using Orbi, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Orbi is an AI chatbot and assistant application that provides access to multiple AI models, including GPT-5 (OpenAI), Claude 4.5 (Anthropic), and Gemini 2.5 Pro (Google), along with features such as AI image generation, document summarization, code generation, math solving, and text-to-speech.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we collect information provided through Firebase Authentication, which may include your email address, display name, and authentication provider details (e.g., Google, Apple sign-in).
2.2 Chat and Content Data
When you interact with the AI models through the App, we process the messages, prompts, and content you submit. This includes:
- Text messages and conversations with AI chatbots
- Image generation prompts and resulting images
- Documents and PDFs uploaded for summarization
- Code snippets submitted for generation or debugging
- Math problems submitted for solving
Chat history is stored locally on your device using Hive (a local database). We also store conversation data on our servers via Firebase Firestore to enable features such as chat history sync.
2.3 Subscription and Purchase Data
Subscription and in-app purchase data is managed through RevenueCat. We collect information about your subscription status, purchase history, and trial eligibility. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) — we do not collect or store your payment card details.
2.4 Device and Usage Information
We automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- Device type, operating system, and version
- App version and build number
- Crash reports and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics)
- Usage analytics and app interaction events (via Firebase Analytics)
- Language and locale preferences
- Theme preferences (dark/light mode)
2.5 Locally Stored Data
The App stores certain data locally on your device using Hive and SharedPreferences, including:
- Chat history and conversation data
- User preferences (theme, language, selected AI model)
- Cached content for offline access
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and functionality
- Process your AI requests by sending them to the respective AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
- Manage your subscription and in-app purchases
- Provide text-to-speech functionality for AI responses
- Send push notifications related to the App (if you opt in)
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the user experience
- Diagnose and fix crashes and technical issues
- Ensure app security through Firebase App Check
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Services
Orbi integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Firestore (cloud database), Cloud Functions (API backend), Cloud Storage (file storage), Analytics, Crashlytics (crash reporting), and App Check (security). See Firebase Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI — Provides GPT-5 AI model for chat completions and image generation. Your prompts and messages are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. See OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic — Provides Claude 4.5 AI model. Your prompts and messages are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. See Anthropic Privacy Policy.
- Google AI — Provides Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model. Your prompts and messages are sent to Google's API for processing. See Google Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat — Manages in-app subscriptions and purchases. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following circumstances:
- With AI model providers — Your prompts and messages are sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, and/or Google to generate AI responses. These providers process data according to their respective privacy policies.
- With service providers — We use Firebase and RevenueCat to operate the App. These services process data on our behalf.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose data if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and server-side data for as long as your account is active. Locally stored data (chat history, preferences) remains on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the App. Crash reports and analytics data are retained according to Firebase's data retention policies (typically 90 days for Crashlytics and up to 14 months for Analytics).
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorized access to our backend services
- Encrypted communication (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmitted between the App and our servers
- Firebase Authentication for secure account management
- Secure local storage using encrypted Hive databases on your device
While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Orbi is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at contact@intelli-chat.app and we will delete the information promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability — Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Objection — Object to the processing of your personal data

10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. The AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and Firebase operate globally. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to these providers, which may be located in the United States or other countries.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
